Holiday Inn Express Newberg - Wine Country, an IHG Hotel

Our flight (Kansas City/Denver/Portland) was scheduled to arrive at midnight. It was delayed in Denver and we did not arrive until 1:30 a.m. and did not reach the HIE until 3:30. We were unable to use the pool or any of the guest facilities except the bed. We slept past the end of the in-house breakfast…which is normally very good. The young woman who checked us in was the only other person we saw prior to checking around 11:00. It was not the property’s fault…but I seriously doubt that Southwest Airlines will accept responsibility or refund a significant portion of our travel costs (including lodging) due to their causing us to experience severe inconvenience associated with other aspects of our travel.

Separate bathroom from mirror and sink, LARGE room, good workspace, Many outlets for USB and other, Great TV with the ability to put my firestick in, very quiet, comfortable bed, clean, nice fridge and coffee area, a couple couches which was great. All around the best hotel I've stayed in while traveling for work

fresh and updated rooms. Great window coverings and plenty of electronic charging stations. Quiet for the most part.

Clean and bright hotel, helpful staff and super breakfast included. Large room and request for walk-in shower accommodated. Very comfortable bed.

It was quiet and set back from the main road. The location was great for walking to near by restaurants and shopping.
